Retreats WCPA therapists can lead or assist in leading retreats for many different types of groups. When leading a retreat the WCPA therapist will work in collaboratively throughout the whole process to ensure that the facility, amenities and programming creates an enjoyable and memorable learning experience. WCPA is always flexible regarding the length and location of retreats. The length of a retreat can be tailored to accommodate half day, full day or a weekend “get away”. Some groups prefer to save on costs by using a school, church, or organizational grounds for their retreat. The therapist leading the retreat can work with you in order to secure a comfortable and appropriate space for your group. The format of retreats vary according to group composition and size, length of the retreat and topic(s) chosen. Retreat plans can include any combination of lecture, group discussion, panel discussion, role-play, small group breakouts, and dynamic activities. Faith groups are always welcome to include a faith component if they wish, led by someone of their choosing. Examples of groups appropriate for WCPA retreats:
WCPA therapists can also run a portion of your retreat, if others will be facilitating the remaining pieces. We can always be flexible to provide the amount of leadership and facilitation that accommodates the needs of the organization.
