Comprehensive Support Services for Christian Communities

The boundaries between being a church leader, administrator and pastoral counselor can be difficult to manage. As society changes, so do the roles of the pastors. Members of the congregation look to the pastor for guidance through difficult times. Our Comprehensive Support Services for Christian Communities was developed to create a collaborative approach between the clergy, the church community, and their faith.

Through our comprehensive approach we offer services, which encompass the entire church community. Our services include:

• Mental health counseling for individuals and families that respect the spiritual beliefs of the client.
• Beyond Baptism (PDF 58KB) is a series of parenting presentations designed to help parents with issues that may arise during early child development.
• Case consultation services for religious leaders to assist them with determining the most appropriate interventions for the mental health and behavioral needs of individuals and families.
• Presentations and in-services for church groups and spiritual leaders to enhance their quality of life and personal or professional development. Our presentations and in-services include enhancing communication skills, setting boundaries with adults and children, and how to help individuals with mental illnesses.
• We offer retreats for any church group; mothers and daughters (PDF 151kb) , fathers and sons; couples and youth. All retreats have the option for a spiritual leader to provide a religious service or devotion.
• Skill building groups for women, men, youth and parents. Topics include coping with stress, grief support, creating healthy boundaries, bullying, managing your marriage, how children change the couple, and parent survival skills.
• All services can be customized by the topic and length of time. Services may be provided for one hour, a full day or on a monthly basis, depending on the needs of your church community.

By strengthening our religious communities, we can instill change in the lives of the congregation members. Our partnership gives congregations a constant foundation to lead healthy and productive lives that uphold the values of their spiritual core.
